The SCHOTT TOPPAC® polymer cartridge is the first ISO-standardized, ready-to-use (RTU) polymer cartridge designed for the sterile delivery of injectable therapies across a wide range of applications. Its advanced polymer design makes it suitable for sensitive biologics and high-value formulations, supporting safe and reliable administration in both clinical and homecare settings.
Made from highly advanced Cyclic Olefin Copolymer (COC), SCHOTT TOPPAC® cartridge feature a homogenous cross-linked siliconized layer, and high break resistance. Their tight manufacturing tolerances also enable flexible design, minimizes overfill volume for improved dosing efficiency and ensures reliable compatibility with injection devices.
As part of the SCHOTT iQ® platform, SCHOTT TOPPAC® cartridge can be processed on a wide range of fill-and-finish equipment and remain nested throughout the entire process. X-ray sterilization ensures residue-free polymer cartridges and promotes sustainable processing by eliminating water-intensive cleaning steps.

SCHOTT Pharma’s ready-to-use polymer cartridges feature an inert surface that minimizes protein adsorption and ensures low levels of extractables and leachables, helping to maintain drug stability over the entire shelf life. Consistent break-loose and gliding forces also contribute to reliable performance, particularly for sensitive formulations.
Manufactured using advanced injection molding technology, SCHOTT TOPPAC® cartridge offer exceptional dimensional accuracy and can be customized to meet specific drug and device requirements. Additional design features such as an overfill geometry help reduce potential variation in fill volumes and minimize drug waste, which is particularly important for high-value medications. Tight tolerances in the cone and flange areas further enhance compatibility with a wide range of injection devices.
