Thank you for your interest in SCHOTT Pharma and our events. We take the protection of your data seriously and would therefore like to inform you in the following about our use of your personal data.

III. Scope of the processing of personal data

1. Purpose of the data processing

SCHOTT Pharma uses your personal data for event management, in particular to provide you with event-related information and enable your access to the event. We treat your personal data confidentially and use it solely for this purpose, unless you have given us further consent or the processing is necessary for our business relationship.

 

2. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the use of your data is your consent (Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a DSGVO) as the legal basis.

 

3. Retention period

A systematic procedure for removing personal data from the event management system is achieved through a deletion concept introduced for this purpose. Your personal data is automatically deleted 14 months after the event.

 

IV. Recipients of personal data

The recipients for the temporary storage of your personal data may be the following:

  • SCHOTT Pharma employees who are entrusted with the organization of the event
  • Service providers who operate our registration platform and whom we engage to send information to you
  • Partner companies that are organizing the event together with us (as shown in the registration form)

 

V. Transfer of personal data to a third country

One platform through which you can register for the event and through which we manage your participation in the event is operated by our service provider based in the USA. Therefore, your personal data may also be processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA). However, we ensure that the recipient of your personal data provides an adequate level of protection by concluding standard contractual clauses for the transfer of data as approved by the European Commission (Art. 46 GDPR).

 

VI. Use of your data for information purposes

When registering, you may consent to receive information from us about our products and services and, where applicable, from our partner companies.

 

2. Legal basis for data processing

The legal basis for the processing of the data is your consent in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. a DSGVO.

 

3. Purpose of the data processing

This additional processing of the data collected during registration serves to send you advertising for our product offers.

 

4. Retention period

The data is deleted as soon as it is no longer required to achieve the purpose for which it was collected. Your contact data will therefore be stored for advertising purposes for as long as you wish to receive information from us.

 

5. Potential recipients of your data

The personal data collected from you will be treated confidentially and stored and used exclusively in the context of the relationship between you and SCHOTT Pharma AG & Co. KGaA.

The data provided to us will not be transferred to any external third parties or organizations outside the SCHOTT Group, unless you expressly give your consent to this when registering for the event.
