SCHOTT Pharma is committed to sustainability and corporate social responsibility. This means that we have not only integrated environmental approaches into our own product and service solutions, but we are also ready to support you in managing sustainability compliance within your supply chain.
For this purpose, we provide services to facilitate your review of our sustainability performance and assessment of the product carbon footprint (PCF). We support your sustainable procurement program by using the third-party rating platform EcoVadis to provide quick and easy access to standardized information about our sustainability performance.
We also offer product-specific carbon footprint assessment projects to promote the collaborative understanding of the emission contributions of your containment solution. In such projects, we use this understanding to collaboratively review potential interventions to reduce the footprint and discuss how these can be realized for a net-zero future.
Alliance to Zero: the SCHOTT Pharma supply chain initiative for a net-zero future
We strongly believe that global challenges such as the climate crisis can only be solved by collaboration, which is why we founded Alliance to Zero together with seven partner companies. Alliance to Zero is a supply chain initiative that aims to develop solutions for the transition to a net-zero, circular future. Through the initiative, we jointly commit to developing concepts and taking actions that are feasible, meaningful, and acceptable from an industry-wide perspective.
